The
widest variety of heavy duty stacking boxes that is available. The addition
of a dolly to the bottom of a stack
can provide easy movement of parts from workstation to workstation. Widely
used for heavy-duty storage,
work-in-process, or distribution applications. |

Because
of the reinforced thermoset composite material, these containers can withstand
a wide range of temperatures.
Useful for handling hot castings or rubber parts directly from the molds. |

Stacking
Containers are: Not affected by oils, grease, degreasing operations, cutting
oils. Have no sharp edges. Won’t
damage delicate machined parts. Designed for a heavy payload. Easily cleaned
in hot water or steam using standard
industrial detergents. |

PROPERTIES OF REINFORCED MOLDED FIBER GLASS CONTAINERS |
|
Fiber
glass reinforced plastic (FRP), is a thermoset polyester. Glass fibers are
added to thermoplastics to improve the strength and
rigidity, and offer reduced weight. |
|
Excellent
dimensional stability and load carrying capacity without creep or distortion
at temperatures from 60° to 250° F (Continuous)
or +300° F (intermittent).Glass reinforced thermosets increase in impact
strength as the temperature decreases. We have containers
used at -190° F. with no difficulties. Dimensional consistency for machine
integration and robotic applications. Not affected by
radiation. NSF and UL listings. Variety of formulations. |

Standard
formulations are unaffected by detergents, mild acids and alkaline solutions
in the pH range of 3.0 to 10.0. Chemical resistant
formulations are available to perform in the pH range of 3.0 to 12.0. ESD/Static
protection in the range of 103 to 1011 ohms resistivity.
Also formulations resistant to auto claving, degreasing and flame retardant. |

Optional
formulations are available for chemical resistance, autoclavability, flame
retardant, food handling, degreaser resistance,
and ESD protection, as well as the basic formulation for general purpose
use. Priced upon request. |
