Damaged parts can be easily replaced. Casters are bolted on for ease of replacement. Caster wheels and swivels on all light and medium duty trucks have shimmy dampeners reducing noise and wear. Thread guards on casters keep string and other debris out of bearings. ALL-WELDED FABRICATION Our equipment is of continuous weld fabrication ... no spot welding is used. Aluminum shelf corners are fabricated before assembly, then welded into the frame adding strength and reducing racking. BALL OR ROLLER BEARINGS    THROUGHOUT All casters have ball-bearing swivels and ball or roller-bearing wheels for long life. FOOT-OPERATED STEP-LOCK The Step-Lock on ladder trucks firmly plants the rubber feet of the ladder onto the floor, locking the truck in place, preventing truck movement when the operator is off the ladder. WHEEL CONTACT AND PARALLELISM    CHECKED ON ALL TRUCKS All trucks are checked for levelness of wheel contact and parallel running during manufacture, making them easier to push, reducing wear and eliminating shimmy. Ladder guides are bolted to frame and are adjustable. Delrin guide sleeves reduce friction by eliminating metal-to-metal contact ... no lubricant is ever needed. Top shelves with flanges turned down are reinforced with angle or channel if subject to severe use. Spring-loaded ladder is locked down onto rubber feet by foot pressure, keeping truck from rolling.
