Delta shift is the measurement of the amount of color loss within a set time period. A detectable change of delta 4 is notable to the uneducated eye.


For color brilliance, durability and fade resistance, our frames are manufactured in multiple layers

A. Cold-formed steel tubing includes an internal corrosion- resistant coating for protection in a variety of environ- mental conditions.

B. The steel exterior is further protected with a galvanized steel coating of 99.99% per zinc.

C. A chromate conversion coating on top of the zinc provides further rust protection

D. A clear organic coating seals in rust protection and also acts as a primer for the final powder coating.

E. The baked on powder coating resists mildew, fungus and staining, and adds high-gloss color to the product. A special UV inhibitor in the powder coat helps prevent color fading.
