HEAVY DUTY SUPER ADJUSTABLE AND SUPER ERECTA® SHELF SECURITY UNITS

FEATURES:

Ready View of Contents: Heavy-gauge open wire construction keeps the entire contents of the truck visible at all times, making it easy to check inventory.
Optional Adjustable Intermediate Shelves: Patented, easily adjustable shelf designs allow flexibility to meet changing needs. Can be positioned in 1" (25 mm) increments along the entire height of post.
Patented, Ergonomic, 1/4-Turn Door Handle: Makes opening and closing the unit easier than conventional security unit designs.
Double Door: Each door opens 270 degrees and can be secured along the sides of the unit.
Time Saving Assembly: Security units assemble quickly — right out of the box.
Shipped Knocked-Down: Saves on freight costs. Easily assembled.
Available in three finishes: Choose from durable Chrome for dry storage, Metroseal 3 for corrosion resistance in high-moisture environments, or Stainless Steel for the ultimate in corrosion-proof wire security units. Metroseal 3 features *Microban® antimicrobial protection.
	HEAVY-DUTY CASTER MODEL

Units include top and bottom Super Erecta style shelves. Super Adjustable 2™ shelves are available as optional intermediate shelves.	SEC55LC shown with optional Super Adjustable 2™ intermediate shelves.

	Interior shelves pictured are optional and must be ordered separately.
Heavy-duty Stainless Steel Mobile Security Units: Require appropriate casters and dolly base (sold separately, see bottom of page).

		For highly corrosive environments, choose casters constructed of appropriate materials. While most wheels are corrosion resistant, the horns and axles are not. Select from a variety of casters with polymer and stainless components. See bottom of page for more information.

Made-To-Order Truck Dollies (Aluminum)*

Select the desired dolly size from chart below and combine with desired plate casters found below (Pitced Alum. Dust Cover Pricing Table) to make your corresponding size Super Erecta unit mobile. For example: D1824NCB, four #B5DN = one 18"x24" (457x610mm) aluminum dolly frame with four 5" (127mm) plate swivel casters.

Dolly frames and stock truck dollies add 3 1/8" (78mm) to the length of the unit and 3 3/8" (87mm) to the unit width.

CASTER GUIDE

The following information is to assist you in the selection of the appropriate caster for your specific application.
Remember, the selection of the proper casters is determined by the load requirements, the operating environment,
and other special conditions.


Caster Tips:

1. The total weight of the equipment and its load should not exceed three times the load rating per caster.			4. Plate casters generally have wheels of larger diameter and can usually carry more weight and take more abuse than stem casters.

2. Given the same wheel material, the larger the wheel diameter, the greater the load capacity and the better the rollability.

			5. Ball bearings and roller bearings in the wheel generally perform better and carry more weight than engineered plastic bearings or sintered metal bearings. Stem casters in the 5MP and the 5MDA series have ball bearings in the swivel and the wheel. Most plate casters have ball bearings in the swivel and ball or roller bearings in the wheel.

3. Caster mounting patterns affect maneuverability and steering of the equipment.



			6. Wheel tread shapes are generally flat, rounded or tapered. Tapered wheels, like donut-shaped wheels, tend to roll more easily. High-modulus donut wheels offer resiliency and mobility, reduce noise, and absorb shock on uneven or rough floors.
	For maneuverability, use 4 swivel casters.	For steering control use 2 swivel and 2 rigid casters.
