SUPER™ SOLID SHELVING

•
Extra Strong: HD Super™ shelving employs the
patented, proven
Super Erecta Shelf® principle with large diameter
posts and heavy
gauge shelves.
• Easy to Assemble: Units can be put together
in minutes without
special tools. Tapered plastic sleeves lock into position
on grooved
posts and fit into the matching taper in the cast corners
of the shelf,
providing a positive lock. Shelves are adjustable in
2" (51mm)
intervals and can be repositioned if use changes.
• Several Shelf Options: Heavy-duty solid
shelves are available in flat
or louvered/embossed styles in galvanized or stainless
steel. Choose
from 18" or 24" (455 or 610mm) widths and
lengths ranging from
36" to 60" (910 to 1525mm). Shelves are made
of heavy-duty 16-
gauge steel. 14-gauge is available by special order.
• Posts Provide Greater Rigidity: HD Super™
posts have an outside
diameter of 1 5/8" (42mm) providing 28% to 128%
greater rigidity than
posts of lesser diameter on other makes of modular shelving.
Posts are
available in chrome-plated, stainless steel, or Metroseal
II.
• Stationary or Mobile: Standard units are
stationary with leveling foot
on each post. Posts are also available fitted with 5"
(127mm) polyure-
thane swivel or brake casters. (Recommended load capacity
for
mobile units is 1,000 lbs. [454kg] gross cart weight.)

Shelves: Shelves are 16-gauge galvanized or T-304
stainless steel.
14-gauge is available by special order. Popular sizes
in flat galvanized
and flat stainless are stocked. Louvered/embossed is available
in both
galvanized and stainless.
• Posts: Steel posts have an outside diameter
of 1 5/8" (42mm), with
rolled grooves in 2" (51mm) increments along entire
height. Available in
chrome-plated, Metroseal II or stainless steel.
• Posts with Casters: Special posts are available
fitted with 5" (127mm)
donut bumpers and 5" (127mm) polyurethane swivel
(5HHP) or swivel/
brake (5HHPB) casters if desired.
• Load Rating: 1,000 lbs. (454kg) equally
distributed. |

Important:
In stationary shelving, stability decreases as the ratio
of height to width increases and when heavier loads are
placed on
upper shelves. Keep units as wide and low as possible,
using the dunnage shelf as the bottom shelf. If two dunnage
shelves are being used, both should be placed within the
lower half of the unit.
Note: Not compatible with Super Erecta or Super
Adjustable 2™ Super Erecta components. |
