Heavy duty steel lever, with special EZ-grip handle.     Can be self stored or placed inside building. Roller-bearing lift mechanism for easy lifts. Cold-rolled steel hinge pin for added strength and      long life. Grease fittings throughout. High-strength steel safety tread plate, 70,000     yield tensile. Heavy duty bumpers blocks with 4" x 12" x 13"      Tuf-cord bumpers. Bumper projection = 15" Secondary gussets for added strength and extended      life. GENERAL DESCRIPTION Bondor NEVERLIFT Edge-Of-Dock levelers mount to dock face and provide a working range of 5" to 5" below dock. The unit is operated by moving a lifting lever approximately 50° away from dock edge, and then returning the lever to its original vertical position. Deck and lip are constructed with high-strength steel safety tread plate, 5500 psi (or better) minimum yield. Extended life bumpers are molded of first quality rubber. Bumper blocks are 5/16" steel with a full length center gusset for reinforcement. Long life hinges include grease fittings throughout. OPERATION PROCEDURE Bondor NEVERLIFT is the easiest to operate of all lever-operated dock levelers in America today. Each NEVERLIFT model comes with a ball-tipped steel lever. With the lever in the operating slot, the operator simply pulls the lever to a position that is approximately 50° away from dock edge. This lifts the deck and lip. Next, the operator returns the lever to its original vertical position. This extends the unit outward and allows it to rest in the trailer. There's absolutely no required back bending, no lifting, no difficult push toward the dock edge, and no leaning over the dock edge. Just pull back, then return to the original position. First, pull back on the lever to the 2 o'clock postion, approximately 50° away from dock edge. Then, return the lever to the 12 o'clock position. That's all it takes. SIZE SELECTIONS INSTALLATION Bondor's edge-of-dock levelers are offered in a variety of sizes to accommodate your specific application. For an existing dock without a minimum 8" channel, an optional ramp approach plate or formed angle from Bondor is highly recommended. For new construction, the leveler should be welded to a dock edge channel which is embedded in concrete and secured by anchoring hooks as shown. Installation drawings are available. Total projection of bumper blocks and bumpers is 15".
